Friday Night Gig at Cellar 55…Yes-Again

I’m so enjoying this little spot on the performance map.  Cellar 55 is a great setting for a musician and a wonderful atmosphere for wine loving patrons.  I’ll be performing this Friday, Oct 24 from 6:30-8:30pm with my usual playlist that includes, Elton John, BIlly Joel, James Taylor, Kenny Loggins, The Beatles, Van Morrison, Elvis Presley, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and some originals, too. Would love to see some familiar faces.

Song: Sabbath-Live

Beautiful afternoon to record music “live” from my driveway.  Playing two keyboards simultaneously can prove to be somewhat of a challenge depending on the material. Thankfully, this original tune moves at such a pace where I can handle it.  Enjoy the simple “live” presentation of,  “Sabbath.”

Live Solo Piano

At my church’s Good Friday service this year I was asked (literally at the last minute) to provide prelude music before the service began.  I was also given one instruction, “make it sound Good Friday like.”

With only seconds to gather my thoughts I began to play.  Since that Good Friday service I have had many people, not only from my church but otherwise, tell me how much they enjoyed my little impromptu song.

I call it “Friday’s Goodness.”
