In the past year, the loss of many dear friends and family has been profound. None more profound than the loss of one of the sweetest souls I’ve ever known, Leana Baskerville, who succumbed to an 18 month battle to lung cancer just before Thanksgiving.
Recently, Leana’s husband, Dean, shared from the deepest part of his grief and loss with a personal song about dealing with Leana’s absence.
For those who’ve lost loved ones and especially for those who have lost their soulmate and spouse, may Dean’s song of honesty and transparency, offer hope within heartache.
Here’s Dean’s song: “If She Were Here”

Hi Chris… thanks for taking time to be with me and to share in worship and a little after worship food. when I tried to open this I’m not sure what I was into and was not comfortable in doing much more with this. Can you send me Dean’s song just by itself. I hadn’t realized Leana had died. Dad >
